Mission Statement
Vision Statement
The mission for Boy Scouts of
American is to prepare young
people in making ethical and moral
choices over their lifetimes by
instilling in them the values of the
Scout Oath and Law.
The Boy Scouts of American is the nation's foremost
youth program of character development and
values-based leadership training. In the future,
Scouting will continue to offer young people
responsible fun and adventure; Instill in young people
lifetime values and develop in them ethical character
as expressed in the Scout Oath and Law; Train young
people in citizenship, service and leadership; Serve
America's communities and family with its quality,
values-based program.
I know there are meetings. What do you do?
There are 2 types of meetings. The first and largest
are the Pack meetings. These are gatherings of all
the scouts. The den meetings are small gatherings of
scouts of the same grade and scouting level. The
scouts use a book appropriate to their level to learn
and track their progress in completing tasks. The
scouts earn awards by completing these tasks.
What do I need?
A book, uniform, completed registration form, and
payment of Pack dues. If you have questions, please
contact someone listed further down on this page
starting with the Cubmaster.
