Training

For a Boy Scout Leader to be considered "TRAINED" and entitle them to wear the "Trained" patch on their uniform, he or she must complete the following:
1.  Boy Scout Leader Fast Start
2.  This Is Scouting (must only be taken once in your scouting career)
3.  Youth Protection Training
4.  Position Specific Training

Training that needs to be completed in person is called "Boy Scout Leader Specific Training".  One half of that position specific training for a Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster is taking place March 28 & 29 (on the Coleman Farm off of Smithville Road) and it is called "Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills".  You will need to pre-register for this course at:
