January Activities January 6 - Committee meeting at the Church at 7:00 p.m. January 18 – Pinewood Derby Weigh-in in the church basement. Tigers: 6-6:15p.m. Wolf: 6:20-6:35p.m. Bear: 6:40-6:55 p.m. Webelos: 1& 2 7:00-7:30 p.m. January 19 - Pinewood Derby Races. Leader set up 11:00 a.m. Races start 1:00 p.m. February Activities February 2 - Annual swim outing at the Riverplex in Peoria. The open swim starts at noon and ends at 7:00 p.m. (or when you decide to leave). February 16 - Blue and Gold Banquet at 1:00 p.m.. The theme is “Blast Off Into Scouting” (a space/rocket theme). The Pack will provide the chicken from KFC, so we will need a headcount by February 1^st.Each Den is responsible for their own table settings and side dishes. It is easier to appoint each boy to bring place settings, a veggie, beverage, bread and/or a dessert. Remember the Golden Eagles will be judging the tables for the best table so go space crazy. Please have your Awards to Aunrie by February 1^st. March Activities Date and time TBD - March Movie Madness. We will be showing a movie called “Follow Me Boys”. This is a movie about scouting and is family-friendly, so it is fit for everyone. We will be serving popcorn and the pack will provide the drink also. You may want to bring a blanket or something else to sit on (all that will be available at the church are the folding chairs in the Fellowship Hall).
